Slowly opening back up… Changes at the farm

Now that restrictions are easing, and the looming spectre of COVID-19 isn’t quite as large as it was not-so-long-ago, we’re making some minor changes around the farm.

You might’ve seen recently that we’re now hosting farm tours again. On these farm tours, Ruairi only has a maximum of nine guests, and strictly enforces social distancing.

Ruairi will also be opening gates on the tours (to limit people touching different surfaces) and thoroughly cleaning mugs between tours.

For those of you who haven’t met Ruairi, he’s been running tours for the last couple of years here at the farm. He’s fantastic with our animals, as well as visiting families and couples alike.

If you currently receive an organic vegetable box, you’re welcome to come along to one of our farm tours for free. Just remember to get in touch well beforehand because there are limited spaces 🙂

And if you’re not able to make it in person, we attempted to run an online farm tour. It’s not the same experience, but maybe we get some points for effort.

Other changes

We’ve had some strange weather over the last few weeks, and we’re not really sure what to expect other than a “wet winter”.

Soon we’ll open up our farm stay accommodation, and make some minor tweaks with our vegetable boxes (going back to our crates and washing them down and sanitising each week).

In the meantime, here are some photos from around the farm 🙂
