We’re after a Vegetable Box Coordinator! With Amy’s due date 🤰 almost here, we’re looking for a new team member to lead our vegetable box program. With all of our other changes, this expected to be a long term position.
Working with about 20 organic farms from across the Mornington Peninsula, the successful candidate requires a high level of organisation, ability to adapt and excellent customer service.
Primary responsibilities for this role include:
- Curating weekly vegetable boxes
- Working with Heritage Farm team members and farmers
- Customer service including phone calls and emails and social media
- Using technology including WordPress, Google Docs, logistics software and more
- Driving a van and/or packing boxes
The successful candidate must be passionate about seasonal food, be honest and reliable, willing to learn and a good fit for our team.
Key Selection Criteria:
- A passion for locally grown, seasonal and organic produce
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation
- Great customer service skills
- Reasonably fit (to move 10kg of produce at a time)
- Able to drive a manual vehicle

This role requires some flexibility in work hours each week, with most hours required on Tuesdays and Fridays – all other work can be completed from home. Total hours are approximately 10-16 hours each week and the successful candidate would get a say in how the program continues to run moving forward.
Remuneration is a casual rate of $30 per hour plus superannuation, with the entire team sharing in the success of the box program.
