Grown by Tash at Margaret’s Mushrooms and by Sam and Dave at Mushroom Forestry. Mushrooms are a key part of our ecosystem, and play an important role in recycling and rejuvenating soil and integrating carbon. They do all that while being amazing for human health and tasting delicious. Our mushrooms are a mix of:
Oyster Mushrooms
With a flavor reminiscent of shellfish, oyster mushrooms have a sturdy texture that stands up to longer cooking times.
Shiitake Mushrooms
These have a smoky, almost meaty flavour- simply roast and sprinkle with salt for a stunning side dish.
